Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Rigfolio (“Rigfolio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and explains how information is collected, used, processed, stored, shared, and deleted when you use the Rigfolio mobile application, website, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Account and contact information

We may collect information you provide when creating or managing an account, including your name, email address, phone number, company or carrier name, company or mailing address, motor carrier number, USDOT number, and driver name.

Account identifiers

We use account-level identifiers, including a user ID, to authenticate your account, associate records with your account, provide subscription access, and protect your data.

Trucking and business information

We may collect information you enter about trucks, trailers, trips, loads, brokers, customers, pickup and delivery locations, dates, mileage, rates, accessorial charges, invoice details, payment status, fuel, DEF, maintenance, expenses, notes, and related business records.

Documents and user content

You may photograph, upload, generate, or store rate confirmations, proofs of delivery, bills of lading, fuel receipts, expense receipts, accessorial documents, photos, PDFs, invoices, invoice packets, trip sheets, notes, and other content.

Subscription information

We may process subscription product identifiers, entitlement status, trial dates, purchase and renewal history, expiration dates, cancellation status, and billing-grace-period information. Rigfolio does not receive your complete payment-card or bank-account information. App Store purchases are processed by Apple.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure user accounts.
• Provide truck, trip, load, document, expense, fuel, invoice, and reporting features.
• Generate invoices, invoice packets, and trip sheets.
• Process documents using OCR and artificial-intelligence services.
• Provide, verify, restore, and manage subscription access.
• Display user-requested business metrics and payment-status information.
• Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests.
• Prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and comply with applicable law.

3. Document Processing and Artificial Intelligence

When you choose to process a document using Rigfolio’s OCR features, the document image, document text, or portions of that content may be securely transmitted through our server-side systems to OpenAI for extraction of relevant fields. Extracted information may include broker details, load numbers, locations, dates, rates, and charges.

OCR and artificial-intelligence results may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting extracted information before relying on it or using it in an invoice or business record.

4. Service Providers

We use service providers to operate Rigfolio:

• Supabase provides authentication, database hosting, file storage, and server-side functions.
• RevenueCat assists with subscription status, entitlement access, purchase restoration, and subscription events.
• Apple processes App Store purchases and provides transaction information needed to verify access.
• OpenAI processes documents or document text when you use OCR and extraction features.

These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary to provide their services to Rigfolio.

5. Tracking, Advertising, and Sale of Information

Rigfolio does not sell personal information, display third-party advertising, use information for third-party advertising, share information with data brokers, or use cross-app or cross-website tracking for advertising purposes.

6. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. Information may be processed and stored using third-party cloud providers. No electronic system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We generally retain account information and business records while your account remains active or for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Rigfolio, complete transactions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

8. Account and Data Deletion

You may initiate account deletion from inside the Rigfolio app through Settings. Deletion is scheduled with a 14-day cancellation period. During that period, you may cancel the request. After the period expires, Rigfolio deletes the account and associated business records, uploaded documents, generated files, and authentication account, subject to limited legal or security retention obligations.

Limited hashed records may be retained for audit, fraud-prevention, security, or legal purposes without retaining the original raw email address or user identifier.

Deleting your Rigfolio account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store subscription. You must manage or cancel the subscription separately through your Apple account to avoid future charges.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information; withdraw optional permissions; and manage your subscription. You can update certain information and initiate account deletion inside the app. You may also contact us using the information below.

10. Camera, Photo, and File Access

Rigfolio may request camera or photo-library access so you can capture or select documents and receipts. File selection may use Apple’s system file picker. You may deny these permissions, although related features may not work. Rigfolio does not use camera, photo, or file access for advertising or tracking.

11. Children’s Privacy

Rigfolio is a business-productivity application and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

12. International Processing

Information may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Rigfolio, our practices, or applicable requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
