Terms of Use
Effective date: August 5, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of Rigfolio, provided by the developer and operator of the Rigfolio application. By creating an account or using Rigfolio, you agree to these Terms.
1. Rigfolio Service
Rigfolio provides tools for organizing trucking records, scanning and storing documents, tracking loads, trips, expenses, fuel, and generating invoices and related files. Rigfolio is a record-management tool and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, dispatch, brokerage, or financial advice.
2. Accounts, Eligibility, and Business Authority
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you use Rigfolio for a company, carrier, fleet, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. In that case, “you” includes both you and that organization.
3. Your Content and Third-Party Information
You retain ownership of information and documents you upload. You represent that you have the right to upload and process that content. You grant us and our service providers the limited rights necessary to host, process, reproduce, and transmit content solely to provide Rigfolio.
You represent and warrant that you own, control, or have all permissions and lawful authority necessary to upload, store, process, and use your content, including documents and personal information relating to drivers, brokers, customers, shippers, consignees, employees, contractors, and other third parties. You are responsible for providing any required privacy notices and obtaining any required permissions or consents. You may not upload information that you are prohibited from possessing, processing, or disclosing.
4. OCR, Generated Files, and User Verification
OCR, artificial-intelligence extraction, calculations, invoices, and generated documents may contain errors. You must verify names, addresses, dates, amounts, rates, charges, and other information before relying on or sharing generated files.
Rigfolio is a document organization, data-entry, and document-generation tool. Information extracted using OCR or artificial-intelligence features may be incomplete, inaccurate, incorrectly categorized, or associated with the wrong document, load, trip, rate, charge, or customer.
Rigfolio does not independently verify or certify the authenticity, accuracy, completeness, legal sufficiency, contractual validity, payment entitlement, tax treatment, regulatory compliance, or enforceability of any information, document, invoice, trip sheet, invoice packet, expense record, or other output.
All generated files are drafts created from information and documents supplied or approved by you. Before finalizing, downloading, sharing, submitting, or relying on any generated file, you must independently review and correct all names, addresses, dates, amounts, rates, mileage, charges, payment terms, customer information, and supporting documents.
You may use generated invoices, trip sheets, expense summaries, invoice packets, and related files in your ordinary business operations, including sending them to brokers, customers, carriers, accountants, or other intended recipients and retaining them for business recordkeeping or audit support. Rigfolio does not guarantee that any generated document, by itself, satisfies a particular contractual, legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, audit, evidentiary, or record-retention requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the original documents and other supporting records required for your business.
You are solely responsible for the final content, accuracy, legality, recipients, submission, use, alteration, and distribution of every generated file. You are the issuer of any invoice or business record created using Rigfolio. Finalizing, downloading, sharing, submitting, or retaining a generated file confirms that you have reviewed it and accept responsibility for its contents, accuracy, authorization, recipients, and use.
Rigfolio is not a party to any transportation, brokerage, payment, employment, customer, or other underlying transaction and does not guarantee that any invoice or charge is valid, accepted, collectible, or paid.
5. Subscriptions and Trial
Rigfolio may provide a limited free trial. Continued access to creation and generation features may require an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple. Available plans, prices, billing periods, and truck limits are displayed before purchase. Apple manages billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds under Apple’s terms.
Deleting a Rigfolio account does not cancel an Apple subscription. You must separately manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple account.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse Rigfolio, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful or malicious content, infringe others’ rights, reverse engineer the service except where legally permitted, or use the service for fraud.
You may not use Rigfolio or any generated file to fabricate, falsify, misrepresent, conceal, alter, or support a fraudulent transaction, charge, expense, delivery, payment request, insurance claim, tax filing, audit record, or other business record. You may not impersonate another person or business, submit documents without authorization, or use Rigfolio to violate a contract, court order, or applicable law.
Rigfolio is not designed for storing passwords, authentication credentials, complete payment-card numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive information that is not reasonably necessary for trucking-document management. You should redact unnecessary sensitive information before uploading documents.
7. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent storage. You should keep independent copies of important business records.
Third-party services, including cloud hosting, subscription processing, App Store services, and artificial-intelligence services, may become unavailable, change, or experience errors outside Rigfolio’s control.
8. Disclaimer
Rigfolio is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rigfolio does not warrant that the service or any generated file will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, secure, accepted by a broker or other recipient, collectible, compliant with every law or contract, suitable for a particular audit or dispute, or sufficient without the original supporting records.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rigfolio and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for lost revenue, lost business opportunities, loss of data, payment delays, rejected invoices, chargebacks, penalties, or losses caused by inaccurate OCR, artificial-intelligence results, user-entered information, uploaded content, generated files, unauthorized account activity, third-party services, unavailable services, or reliance on generated documents.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Rigfolio and its operator arising from or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Rigfolio during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
10. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rigfolio, its operator, affiliates, contractors, service providers, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, penalties, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from or relating to your content or documents; your use, submission, alteration, or distribution of generated files; your violation of these Terms or applicable law; fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized use of Rigfolio; your violation of another person’s privacy, intellectual-property, contractual, payment, or other rights; or a dispute between you and a broker, carrier, shipper, consignee, customer, driver, employee, contractor, or other third party. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results directly from Rigfolio’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Termination and Deletion
You may stop using Rigfolio or request account deletion in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create security risks, or misuse the service.
Sections concerning ownership, user responsibility, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, disputes, and any provisions that by their nature should survive will continue after termination.
12. No Agency or Transaction Relationship
Rigfolio does not act as your carrier, broker, dispatcher, employer, employee, agent, partner, joint venturer, accountant, attorney, tax adviser, insurer, lender, payment processor, or fiduciary. Using Rigfolio does not create any such relationship. You remain solely responsible for your business decisions, agreements, submissions, legal obligations, taxes, records, and interactions with third parties.
13. Rigfolio Ownership and Limited License
Rigfolio and its software, design, branding, documentation, and other service materials are owned by Rigfolio’s operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Rigfolio for your internal business purposes. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant Rigfolio permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you as the source without permission.
14. Third-Party Services and Terms
Rigfolio may depend on third-party services and platforms. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and policies. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Rigfolio, including Apple’s App Store and device-usage terms.
15. Apple App Store
If you obtain Rigfolio through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your license and use of the iOS application and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. These Terms provide additional terms governing your account, subscription, content, document processing, and use of Rigfolio’s services.
These Terms are between you and Rigfolio’s operator, not Apple. Rigfolio’s operator, not Apple, is responsible for Rigfolio, its content, maintenance, support, and claims relating to the service, except as otherwise required by applicable law or Apple’s platform terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the applicable Apple-related provisions and may enforce those provisions against you.
16. General Terms
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for a specific feature, form the entire agreement between you and Rigfolio regarding the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent, but Rigfolio may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or transfer of the service. Rigfolio is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. When appropriate, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
